Hi all! My name's Sarah, and I'm a recent Detty convert. It was the eyebrow-kiss that made me sit up and take notice. Since Horta isn't giving us a straight answer, I figured why not write my own? I noticed that a lot of Detty fic tend to be written from Daniel’s point of view. Which is awesome, but I thought I’d try out Betty’s voice for a bit. These fics came out pretty porny - if the thought of Betty having sex freaks you out, run away now.
An Active Fantasy Life – Betty’s always had an active imagination. It gets her into some trouble when she finally sees Daniel after a long time apart. Future-fic, NC-17. Spoilers for episode 4.09. Wackiness (and many parenthetical statements) ahead.
The Westermarck Effect – The Westermarck effect: People who are raised together, regardless of relationship, tend to become desensitized to each other, and they will not generally develop sexual attraction to each other later in life. I know that we've all been sailing on this Detty ship for quite some time now. But nowadays, it's just hard to not feel seasick. With what's coming out of Silvio's obscure mouth, I just find it hard not to jump off the ship. I know, being a member of this community, you swear to the Detty bible, proclaiming your support towards their relationship, but lets just, for one second, have some doubt. Augh my heart's hurting asking this- if Detty didn't happen, what would float your boat?

I know most of us are gonna choose the last option, only 'cause we can't imagine a world where Betty is fucking anyone other than Daniel, but lets just, for one second, see a world that doesn't contain Detty. What would we choose and why?
Be honest. You may or may not get flamed, but who the hell cares? Let it out.
I think. Augh, I can't even think of something that isn't Detty, but I think that they should be alone. But not without love. I think they should at least hint something for how they feel about each other, even if they don't hook-up by the end of the show. It wouldn't be fair for both of them, especially Daniel, to be with someone else. They've been there for each other through the highs and lows. They've created hell for each other, as well as bliss. They've shared intimate moments without actually being intimate. And hell, they've grown up with each other! They're growing into their skins because they've had each other for so long. So it's only fair that even if they end up being alone, they don't disregard all the other feelings surrounding their relationship.
What are your thoughts? I know, I know, I post a lot of crap. I just think it's appropriate with all the buzz about Detty these days.

This is another article I found by an insignificant other, whom I could give two shits about. It comments on the ridiculousness of Detty. Of course, I commented on it because, well, the article sucks ass, a lot of it.

Hey everyone! My friend and I are planning to go on a backpacking trip to Europe for about 2 months. We are on a tight budget btw.
We've decided on mid March to mid May but the prices for hostels during May is pretty steep.
1) Is there a better period to travel there?
2) Also, we have decided on a few places to visit - Paris, Berlin, Budapest, Venice, Corfu Island, London - but we would love to hear more suggestions on the places we should/should not visit. We would also like to know how long we should spend on the various places.
3) As mentioned, the hostels in London seem to be exceptionally pricey, does anyone know of cheaper accommodations? ( we are open to home stays etc.)
4) Compared to train rides, flights within Europe seem to be a lot cheaper since we would not benefit from the Global pass because of the few countries we are visiting. Can you give us your opinions on this? :) p.s. each flight only costs about 30 euros on average.
5) Do you guys think London is a good place to go, we've not read many good reviews on it.
